ive been helped alot by you guys with my xr. i finaly got every thing back in place and then the battery shat itself. oh yeah, my fuze box is missing one of the little clips on the fuze marked hazard, to fix it do i have to take the box out and if i do have to does that mean the dash has to be moved aswell. if i fixed that my horn should work again right.

The fuse hazard if its missing means you can't use your hazzard lights, your horn is seperate. There should be a rating for the hazzards (15 amps??) or something, buy one of those fuses (or find one lying around), and stick it into the slot...

Good luck...

well when i looked at the fuze box to find what was wrong with my horn i checked all the fuzes and they were all ok but the slot marked hazard didnt have a fuze but the hazard lights always worked when i looked in to the slot i saw that one of the brass conductors was missing. so i just need to know how to goabout fixing it.

You'll need to look behind the fuse box, and see if the brass conductor fell out, and is shorting? just stick your head into where your pedal box is, and turn 180 degrees. should be able to see it, (I think), if not just take it out.

Good luck

i went to the wreckers to find a wreck that i can tinker with to try to get it out of. but i coudnt move it. but i fond a wreck that had the dash pullde half out so i could see what it was like and all i saw was a hughe mess of wires i tought it might just have a clip at the back so i could just swap them over but it didnt so i need to know what to do with it.

So, you are trying to find the part that holds thr fuse connector/holder?

If one of them are in place, get a fuse, plug the hanging connector into the fuse, and then clip the fuse in... that way, the fuse holds the wire

Oh, and if you wanna replace the fuse box, that involves pulling all the wires out, and then maring on them where they go, and plugging them into the new fuse box... the wires don't come with the fuse box, and there isn't any for the fuse box that I know of.

So, its either make it fit, or play with wires for hours. I guess getting a new fuse box would be worth while, just a pain in the a***

lol, when you have that many wires in front of you, not many would feel confident.... but I have a repair manual, so that helps. But yeah, if you want, just get someone else to do it... kinda sucks for just a clip.
