You will need to change the plug over from the NL or EL, there is one or two wires that are different but pretty minor. The BEM will no longer fit as the plugs on that are different as well.

hi wanting to use a NL dash loom in a EF all plugs up but just the wight plug that is near the orange one near the fuse box any one got any help changing this plug or will it fit

Check out the tech docos - IIRC there are pin outs for the EF & EL BEM's.
Do realize there will be a fair amount of work rearranging pins into the applicable plugs - but it can be done.

Tim (Rapier) gave me this detail when I did mine
Quote: the white plug that normally sits in behind the fuse box, is on a bracket with an orange plug, these aree sligtly different the el/nl loom will have and extra wire. all you need to do is attach the extra wire (yellow green/stripe) to the the pink wire on the connecter that sits in the fuse box (the one where you do the diagnostics check.
From memory I think it was the Tach signal that is sourced different between EF and EL. The rest is just moving the pins on the plug to the new position. I hope this helps.

hey i went and got a EF fairmount dash and i am wanting to put the ltd cluster in with the fairmount dash any one done this amd do you have any info
