jumped back into my ED the other day, to find that there is (most of the time) no high beam.
the relay still clicks when you hit the switch, and the lights sometimes work, but generally not.

im thinking probably the fusable links, but any other ideas ?

thanks guys.

either replay is stuffed or not earthing properly! If it works sometimes then that would suggest the rest of the wiring is ok.

i agree with happy it cant sometimes work and sometimes not unless there is a problem with earthing.. maybe you have a wire which is rubing on metal and thats why they only work sometimes.

Check your wiring thats where i would start, if that doesnt work check your relay and if they are fine get some globes but i am 99% sure its not glodes

cheers

I bought and wired up a brand new Narva 40 amp relay in the dragster a couple of weeks ago. It only works intermitently. It clicks in every time, but doesn't always make a connection. I pulled it out and bunged in an old Ford relay and it is working perfectly.

So go figure.
