Have done a search but most people just say go with a High Flow Cat. Just wondering if any stand out from the crowd good or bad. Looking at a Walker at the moment.

realistically you dont need one, they found bout under 1kw diff from highflow to a stock one. plus you want some backpressure as they dont like that amount of huge flow according to figures

The main reason to go from a stock to a highflow is the fact that the stockos are only 2.25" inlet-outlet.
If your stock cat is in good condition, get it reflanged to 2.5" If it's f**k, it's cheaper to just buy a 2.5" 'Hi-flow'.

"metal cat" mate.
100% stainless inside & out. based on a 3" system: Metal cat= 589 cfm inlet flow, reduce down to 534cfm throu the outlet high flow ceramic= 589 cfm inlet flow, reduce down to 312cfm throu the outlet

Thanks for the info guy's. I'm hoping the original is not stuffed, has been on the car for 180 000km's so chances are it's stuffed. Will have to make sure the exhaust shop has got a decent 2 1/2'" hi Flow in stock just in case. Magnaflow or similar. Might have to get some more info on these metal substrate cat's.

These oval metallic cats only came out a couple of months ago as the tech to get them into an oval shape was only perfected recently. For performance purposed, especially turbo, metallic cats are they only way to go.
