okay i know ive brought this before but i need help deciding on one.
i can prolly get one custom made from allfast but thats gonna cost tones so im gonna just by a premade and chuck it in myself. theres a ten inch stall for a mild cam set-up and a diff ratio of 3:1 or thers a nine inch for a race cam and a diff ratio of 3.5:1 or higher. now i rekon ive got a mildish cam but a very low ratio'd diff. what you rekon? ive sent an email to these guys and they still havent replied. so what do u guys think? e6

Don't really think high stall converters are a go for street driven I6's.
They don't rev hard enough (5700rpm cut out) and the torque curve is pretty flat. For a V8 with a serious cam that revs with power to 6500-7000rpm and a limpy 1200rpm idle you need one for a six which idles at 850rpm and revs to 5500rpm you don't. |

you should be looking at the stall speed of the converter. not the size
for a street I6 i wouldn't go for any higher than 2000rpm. |
