Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what kind of plastic if any is available for a piece of intake tubing. Looking for something like a PVC pipe except without PVC's weakness to heat. Only has to be a straight piece 3in diameter.
Cheers Nick

That stuff also deforms under heat. Polyethylene handles it better than both of those, but will deform under extreme heat too.

go to an exhaust shop and get an offcut off aluminium or stainless tube. then you can even polish it up and make it look pretty!
pvc will take the engine bay temp, seen plenty of people use it! you wont ahve a problem...

is polyethylene what's used on stock intakes? I found some guys up there that do anything and everything with plastic so I will find out what they recommend I use. Cheers
