Perhaps if you list the mods you have done it will save some time.

Also check the stickies at the top of the forum for a few ideas.

i think this may be covered somewhere in a sticky, but anyway. a good LSD will limit the slip between rear wheels, therefore if you pull a skid both wheels will turn (if its in good condition). With an open diff usually one wheel will turn. Getting an LSD will increase you grip though, not your acceleration.

Changing diff gearing will alter acceleration. Depending on your car, stock diff gearing will be somewhere between 2.92 - 3.45:1....getting a higher ratio (example 4.11:1) will increase your acceleration. This ratio is the number of times the tailshaft turns compared to number of times the driving axle is turning. Therefore while having 4.11 diff gears will make you accelerate faster, it will also mean engine is revving higher for a given speed, therefore uses more fuel

I did the air intake thing and it works good, plus Pacie Comps, already a 5sp manual, changed diff gears from 2.92 to 3.27. All good at the momment, till I get round to finishing off my new engine.

skidder - LSD will increase your accelleration for the simple fact that you have more grip, like you stated. So instead of planting it and having one wheel spin its tits off like me, you'll give both wheels a much more similar amount of power.

More grip = go faster.

stick the pod in a box to stop heat soak when you're stopped or crawling thru traffic.
Would probably explain why its gutless on takeoff - the engines sucking in heated air.

I was looking at putin a pod on, but i read in one of the stiky's its a bit tricky in an EA, but i am definatly going to give it a go,

Also thinking of puttin on extractors and new exhaust

Thinkin of puttin on Pacemaker extractors and a Redback sports exhaust but then it got me thinkin of compression, because overall thats actually my concern, MY CAR LAGS HARDCORE, and puttin extractors and exhaust will leave me up s##t creek because not enough air will be gettin in my engine coz it lags enough

And then puttin these systems on will drag even more out of the engine, leavin me with no compression to even tick over
