hey guys just thought id post up some pics of what ive been up to today .
went and got 3 3" 90 degree bends. and a off cut of a straight lenght.

cut them and played around with it all to get it to fit under the bonnet. used tape to hold the joins to get the angles right then when i was happy i tac them together.

went to a mate who has a mig welder as i only had an arc.

and welded it up then spent the arvo grinding the welds down then useing a sander pad on a grinder went over the whole thing. got to do a few little tuch up welds on some pin holes but other then that its come up pretty sweet.

plan on sanding it bac smooth and getting it chromed.

heres some pics enjoy

DIY is more satisfying than lining up at Supercheap, well done, should look the goods chromed.

Chroming? So isnt that your intake in the first 2 pics?

All it needs is alot of sanding and polishing, dont need chrome imo
