which isn't the PCV, if I remember right the PCV connects to the intake manifold somewere not to the throttle body.
hmmmm... so what can i use to block it off. |

you can't see the puddle of CRC Clean R Carb lieing there on the bottom? Before that thing was entirely black! I'll do some scrubing once the rocker c cover is back on as I don't want to get much on the shiny new head! So no ideas on how to block it off, I'm gunna see what blanking plugs we have at work today, but I think they'll be too big. |

If you're running LPG, (which it looks like you are from the spliced bypass solenoid), don't connect that to anything. It use to go to the back of the rocker cover, but when they convert to LPG it gets plugged, or the pcv sucks LPG vapour from the throttle body, thru your valve cover. One little bit of blow-by or spark and BOOM! No more rocker cover, and a sizeable dent in your bonnet

on my gas car that pipe goes to just inbetween one of the intake runners and just ends, should it be pluged up???
i have seen the same thing that EBGizmo speaks of, from memory a guy on these forums had it happen, a "HUGE" crack the length the rocker cover and the whole front and of his rocker cover came off aswell, looked very japanese, "i can see your cam gear bro". |

Depends if it serves the same function or not (re: plugged up)
Its just a clean air source pipe for the rocker, since the PCV valve is trying to scavenge all the blow-by gasses under the rocker cover, it needs air to get in. You just need to connect the vent side to a clean air source, where LPG vapour is not present. On my EB, the throttle body pipe in question, was plugged with a hose that had a ball bearing in it (quite crude). When I did my EF conversion recently, I used a short hose with something else in it, and two hose clamps. I think it was a bolt. No point using caps/plugs etc IMHO, because if you get a backfire, it shoots off, then you are left scratching your head as to why it suddenly won't run on LPG properly
