got full system paceys high flow cat 1 small muff in the middle sounds grunty as but i want it to pop more when i back off how do i make it pop anyone ?

Try throwing a few handfuls of popcorn in the back exhaust before driving off. Then in 10 mins you will be popping like mad. :mrgreen:

Or get a cam with big duration...but not much point in doing this unless you have compression to match.

Sounds like a die grinnder on corrigated iron on accel and sound like there breaking down on decel.

timing 180 degrees out, every time you try to start it will go bang lol, if thats still not loud enough install some fully sick burnt out exhaust valves and be sure to chop that exhaust off as mentioned above, then sit back with a stubbie of (vb) and enjoy the sound of a 4 litre exploding inside
once you blow it up remove yourself from this forum and buy a vn commodore

Now that you boys mention it, my el xr6 never popped and or f@rt very much yet my xr8 does... and you say commodores do too. Why is that? engine config.? I always thought that sound was uncombusted fuel being dumped.

My EB used to pop and carry on all the time when I backed off the throttle. Even after I got it tuned. Got Pacey exctractors, guts knocked out the cat, 2.5" Lukey system and single muffler and is a 5spd. Rumored to have had work done so I thought that was why but upon pulling head off to change the gasket, turns out to be stock :p So fecked if I know how you do it :/
