Ahh fair enough Actually if the OP wants louder , i notice with the 2.5" cat backs there loudest at around 2.5k-4 Maybe drive around in 3rd on 60km roads to keep the RPM up that will make it louder and be cheap oh and keep the revs up might be pricey in fuel though |

Just saw off the entire exhaust system. You dont need it. That is all.

I think from memory the law states that the exhaust must exit behind the last entry point of the car, so the OP could modify the exhaust so it exits just past the doors and in turn also removing a s**t load of pipe in the process. In saying that though I agree with where the other comments are heading. To the OP, mate if you go louder than what setup you have right now you will get the wrong attention. You already have your age as a disadvantage with the boys in blue and adding more fuel to the fire is only going to get you burnt. You might think a louder car would be cool, but walking home after the fuzz drops a yellow sticker on your windscreen will not be cool. I hope you get where we are coming from, we have all been young, dumb and full of c*m and made mistakes that we look upon now in our older age as stupid. Take some friendly advise and spend your efforts and money on making the car go harder rather than sounding louder. |

Actually, just unbolt the entire exhaust so that it exhausts straight out of the cylinder head (Seriously, a bloke with a BA Ute that lives near here did that a few years ago, was a good laugh !)
