That must be in contention for the dumbest comment of the year. A forum is all about people that are not like minded so alternate ideas can be considered.

If everyone was like minded we would have a forum which someone asks a question and everyone says yeah, yeah yeah yeah, yeah. Who wants that??
?

mate,f**k you,,i try to support you and you write this s**t,,up yours muther f**k your on your own.

I was trying to figure out why you bothered in the first instance?

i just thought fords were fat and couldnt get off the line too hard because its got so much fat dragging it back. oh and the first long gear which i think is good for towing? Lower revs on the freeway. btw more fuel = more torque?

i agree, with everyone else, if your gonna bag fords, why even post anything. my ed 6 gets between 650 and 700 kays on a tank, never misses a beat, and apart from the mods, the only cost has been oil changes and services, which i do myself. also fords are built so much better and look more professionaly done.

P.S ed falcon 6 4spd, half a car lenght over a vs v6 4spd and tottaly thrashed a v6 4spd vy commo.

There. Settled!

First gear in auto falcons is gay, no two ways about it.
That said, I didn't think the VR/VS was quicker than the EF/EL on the quarter?
It is quite weird that the gearing is how it is... I guess it must be the fact it cruises easy as at 100, where as the commo revs a bit.

Either way, if a commodore box fitted mine I'd probably have it in there, because ours just robs the 4L of speed.

even though we are ford fans, at least someone else can face the facts, common, fords arent perfect, but in years to come, i really do think if ford plays their cards right people will be looking at a holden as if its a daewoo

i've been saying for years, who gives a s**t wether ford is better then holden,i like most brands of cars.

i bought the ea because i liked it when i saw it,there were other cars available at the same time, some more expensive, some less.

i don't give a jatz cracker what i can beat or what can beat me,,i like my car and thats what counts.
