How does the Holden V6 make no torque and still outrun a i6 over the quarter and from the lights.
I know the i6 is full of torque but why doesnt it boogy like a commy. Is ford caught out with bad fuel economy so they have to have long legged ratios to compensate??

The otherday the commie got off the line before i did but then i planted it and took him. I really dont think its a case of falcons have more tourqe and commies have better gears. I think its like how people can drive and what the cars running like. There are also many other factors such as things being f**k or what ever. Bah i dont care. I got my falcon because of saftey features and the price. Not because i can blow people off the line or what ever.. Why hasnt EBV8 been banned? IP Banned? All his threads closed?

I think that makes it about 5 different ways EB V8 has asked the same question.
 He knows it's not true, so he is giving us a prime example folks, of why being a Meth affected Commodore driver, and being a member of a Ford site doesn't work. I think we should take notice of his example, go forth and rectify the problem, with a moderator solution.

i dont understand how you guys think every 4l will catch a v6..
ive been in many falcons which have been raped by a v6 and have never had a chance of catching up.. espeically eb-ed's.. |

they do feel fast, its so true, a guy from uni's VS felt like it pulled really hard when I was in it, but it wasn't actually that fast.

Yeah, i've taken one off the lights, but he got the jump at the start and then i caught him easy and passed him. cos i didnt want to look like a tool if i took the jump at the lights and he didnt race.

So quick to judge, lads. I'm not sure what forum rule he has broken?
EB V8 your last point in the initial post makes little sense tho. Longer ratios on the first gear will actually reduce fuel economy as you'll load the engine up harder to get it off the line... remember revs does not equal fuel consumption - load does. It would appear it's the commodore who is hiding a fuel consumption problem by gearing the car down... Lol
