Hey everyone...just wondering how heavy an EL motor is with everything connected to it. BBM, exhaust manifold, injectors,...basically a complete EL motor...with oil and also an oil filter

Thanks for that fritzz...btw was that just the motor without the BBM and all the accessories attached? lets hope the engine is no more then 400kg in total with accessories, bbm, oil, exhaust manifold and the other stuff. phong =P~

nah...just putting a motor on a stand...and hope to god it won't snap on me...supposedly can hold up to 600kg so should be fine. When i have spare change...then yeah a laser 6 would be cool...so long the chassis can withstand the motor,

yeah i think the motor is around 200-250kg....bloody heavy - surprisingly the V6 commie motors seem to weigh even more!

yeah the buick v6 is iron head and pushrod....but it is strange that such a compact engine can weigh so much.

I always thought the V6 were lighter due to their size....weird. phong =P~
