I want to get the engine in my EF rebuilt. It's an absolutely stock 4.0 bottom end with a Tickford head. I have an auto 'box.
I'm looking for something performance-oriented to use as a basis for further mods, keeping it naturally aspirated so high compression is ok.
It will see strip use 1% of the time and the rest will be street driving. I like to give it revs but am not into burnouts and all that crap.
Just wondering how much I should expect to pay for a suitable rebuild, and if anyone has recommendations for an engine builder in Perth WA that would be great.
