you need a harmonic balancer puller to suite that balancer, by mem i think the els have hydraulic balancer (read: expensive) but not certain. i made my own 'pusher' to bolt into the 3 threaded holes in the ea balancer and pushed the balancer off the shaft by tightening a centralised screw into the crank. if that makes much sense....

You can get new balancer from Repco, and maybe a puller too.
To reinstall the new balancer, I use a front strut bolt from a VS commodore,( theres 2 of them that hold the strut to the stub axle assembly) Use this bolt with the original washer to force on the balancer, till it stops, then take out the bolt, and use original bolt to finish it.
Its usually a good idea to fit a new front oil seal too.
It may be cheaper/easier to get one fitted by a mechanic, since you don't have the tools required, or a basic idea on how to do it.

Although not necessary, it is far easier to do this with the radiator removed.

To loosen the crankshaft bolt, remove the coil lead, put the right size socket on the bolt with a large breaker bar wedged against the lower framework. Then give the engine a quick crank over.
