How do you clean all the parts under the bonnet?

I realise those modded cars that people put on display at Motorshows have a really clean engine compartment.

Do they use some sort of spray or something?

How do they do it?

Weel from experience if you want them so clean they shine in the dark you'l have to remove them and clean them individualy but then agian spraying 2-3 cans of engine degreaser does an alright job

if your car has a distributor wet it as little as possible  , they can handle a bit of water but not to much. 8-)

i usually just bag anything electrical..ie dizzy, fuses etc, then drown the engine bay in degreaser, leave it sit, then blast it with a high pressure hose.

dont worry you dont have one you have coil packs..
thats if you have a 99 au forte
a "dizzy" is a distributor it distributes the spark to each spark plug

my engine bay is VERY clean generally, many of the parts are painted, and the ones that wernt have been thougherly cleaned when off the car, and care has been taken not to get them greasy esp the part on the upper half of the motor.

for shows tire shime works a treat on any blacks suck as plastic or rubber

They are people who are very dizzy. Thus dizzys.

Nah... its for slang for Distributor, i think it was given that name because the thing inside it spins around. Im not a mechanic person though.

I'll second that, tyre shine or even silicon spray works great on the black plastics under the bonnet i.e plastic intake piping, airbox, snorkel, power steering cover and various hoses etc, brings them out looking like new if the plastic hasnt faded and gives them a nice shine

I'm about to spray some heavy duty degreaser onto the engine compartment.

I have highlighted all the parts which need to be protected from the water to hose it all off.

Have I missed any electrical component, or other part which should be covered up?
