an after market fuel reg is a cheap way, as factory unit are slower to react to fuel pressure fluctuations
make sure your throttle assy is in best possible working order if not replace any worn parts
diff gears are also cheap performance and will give u more punch when u first snap the throttle
like the other guys said check the relavent threads on this
cheers

if you dont want to spend any money, clean your filter and cut some wholes in the bottom section of the airbox. You can also take the bellmouth out of the top of the airbox.

if you look at under the top of the lid of the EF airbox you will see a bellmouth which is only about 55mm, which restricts airflow. http://us1.webpublications.com.au/stati ... 3_07lo.jpg

Just went and cut the bellmouth out with a sharp stanley knife to about the same diameter of the pipe (I made it nice and smooth with some 80 grit wet and dry) and yeah theres a difference up above 2500rpm, the tacho cant keep up with the gear changes lol... its stuffed.
