a {stage 3 alted cam$330} excluding labour

{surecam street warrior cam & chip package $990}, heavy duty valve springs{ $220}, excluding labour
extractors $280 to $450, excluding labour.

Free flow exhaust $280 to $390, excluding labour.

Fluffy dice, no labour!

prepare to fork out same $$$$ for the rebuild onces things start giving way.

this is starting to sound like 2 kids arguing over who has the bigger lollypop

at the end of the day, u buy 2nd hand and save half price...e.g. me paying 25k for a ba xr6 and not over 40 from factory

20g's will see you a nice ba ghia :D

at the end of the day, youll appreciate it more than the ea and possibly even work out the same price in the end (especially if your going to spend a s**t on making your old ford "better")

because there is no answer. no mater what you do IT WILL NOT MAKE YOUR EA BETTER it just is not going to happen.

for the money you claim to have you could have bought an ED XR6 or fairmont ghia. hell it could have stretched to a slightly worse for wear EF ghia. any of those would have made the massive................................................................................gap
a little smaller.

just give up..

ps: i still find it hard to beleive this is even a remotely serious thread

Your $1500 would be more valuable and better spent on a poverty stricken village in Africa then it would on your EA. Still, just so you don't go away dissapointed, whack on some stickers which is probably good for at least 20kw and maybe some cardboard bodykit and spoiler cutouts so that you can go to bed every night with a smile on your face.

haha, I can't believe some of you a** clowns are taking this guy seriously! :P

EA MAN, I have the perfect solution to your problem. Take your $1500 and buy another 2 EAs, then ram them into your neighbor!

How can you guys be so narrow minded......

My ea ghia has a full 139k, the BA has 182kw, ok I acknowledge that. BUT!!!! it also has about 250kw of weight. What is 43kw gonna do to bridge that gap. Are you guys stunned?

There are three things that a certain in life, death, taxes and my ea ghia will beat a BA ghia in luxury, performance, looks (arguable) and handling (after I but 215 tyres on it.
cool mine will still out corner yours mine has 225's woohoo, mine only an EL so only 157kw (oops that still beats yours sorry)

spend the money on some cement, fill the boot and back seat up with it, and if it can still move after that, drive it off a bridge.
that'd be 1500 well spent.

if you are gonna buy somthing from EA vintage, you should at least get a DAII which gives you: tibbe lock, 4 spd, security radio, electric seats. Which takes you .00000001% closer to BA ghia

i thinks the ZL Fairlane i has in the garage would be better than the EA Ghia... and the ZL wont even start!

each to thier own tho - if you like your car - thats great!

but its nowhere near as good as the BA :P
