I spent $100 on a tickford ecu $180 on a cam $250 on a j3 chip tuner and burner $100 for AU MLS gasket $600 for cat and pacemaker 4480's and $350 for 2.5" mandrel cat back with a straight through muffler and im making 167rwkw running vortex fuel without octane booster unported head but been shaved 10 tho and its a tickford head of a ef xr6 (reco was $450) so ive spent a bit plus 3: intake pipe and bends $50 total without cost of car or stereo just over 2k so far

Diff Gears are 3.45:1 LSD including shiftkitted auto(variable)

He has a generous dyno by about 10 to 20rwkw, so enjoy your apparent 165rwkw.
So that is 15 to 20 rwkw for how much?
Dont get me wrong, I hear he dose good work but I dont believe his dyno figures.

good work!!

im guessing half the reason people pull s**t numbers is cause theyve got tired motors and non existent tunes

my car origionaly started with 98rwkw so if hes generous your saying i had something more like 88 or even 78rwkw, wouldent guess so most standard el xr6s get bout 100rwkw, but as iv posted iv been level with vx ss and standard r33's and as you know the vx is rated at 225kw and more torque which makes up for its diff gears, so im fairly certain his dyno isent generous, but to be sure i might get it dynod at another place

I've got a tune taken from a track spec car fitted with the 1673, with a few tweaks... it'll ping on 92ron... I still dont think my car has 150rwkws though.

all depends on who does your tune and if its to suit the way you drive as for the program i got a burner to accually program the j3 chip to what ever i need at the time as i have about 4-5 saved BIN files but car will do a high 13 very low 14 second pass on street tires i think that you have to look at the way you build the motor to achieve the power you want and only thing im thinking i should have done in the rebuild was forged pistons for a later down the track turbo mod

whats hard to believe about a 14.0 sec 1/4 and 165rwkw....I dont doubt the guy hes done everything the right way and posted good but not unrealistic numbers
