I need to know how to remove the outer retainer ring of the timing chain tensinor. I have tryed to knock it round with a screwdriver, also made a little tool out of a grinder tool but that bent. that sucker is tight. its not left hand thread by chance??

I need to remove it so i can reset it properly as i took the cam gear off befor re setting it yes i'm an idot.

I made a tool simular to a angle grinder tool.
either that or get steel box section, drill 2 holes and use 2 drill bits and turn it that way.
Its Normal thread.
