Hi guys looking for a quick answer on how to separate the relay head from its base which I'm trying to do as we chat? This is the green/black fuel pump relay under the cooling surge tank. Does it have an internal clip or something. There is zero gap to wedge anything between and jimmy apart. No visible external clip. Have tried brute force but dont want to grab it with pliers in case I smash it.

ok I think I have answer thanks to off-website Auto Elec. The green base goes up inside the relay head and has internal clips. So I need to spring the sides out on the black relay head and maybe snap the internal clips to get it to release. Thanks anyway guys.

Thanks mate I got it apart. What I said in last post was wrong. The green & black part is the relay with a female socket on base of larger green section. The socket on the loom is male and is the smaller green section with external clip. I was trying to separate the black from green but should be separating green from green at base.
Yep should have posted in "Auto Electrical Forum" ooops ## RESOLVED ## |
