|
hey all. just wondering how do i adjust my hand brake? sick of lifting it into the back seat and still rolling that little bit when its in park. do you get under the car or is it done at the handel itself?

From memory there is a 10mm adjuster bolt at the handbrake handle which you'll need a deep socket for. There is also your handbrake shoes inside the rear rotor. I would check the shoe adjustment 1st then adjust handle to suit.

does any one know how to adjust it at the shoes in the rear rotors?? i need help asap am taking car to get rwc in an hour need help

Should be a rubber grommet In the rotor. With handbrake off and in nuetral you'll need a torch. The adjuster wheel is at the top from memory. Line the hole up with the wheel and turn (unsure of direction) with a flat blade screwdriver until the rotor just starts to drag the back it off a couple of clicks. Or you can remove rear calipers and remove the drum to access but I'd try through the grommet 1st.

worked it out just spun the spikky wheel untill it went abit tighter.

hahaha i had to work it out myself.take off the rotor and spin the spikky thing with a flat balde one way then try fit the rotor back on to make sure you didnt do it to much.
