It should move, have you got all the bolts out? Tried using a bar in one of the ports to lever the head up to break the "seal"?

Yep exactly, the one bolt is holding the head in place, once you break the seal it will lift up over the top, and it will go as i've done it before. |

Yeah all the bolts are out. I dont know how many times i checked the head for any other bolts.
So just get like a crow bar and lift the head out? Wouldnt that damage the ports/valves?

wrap a hand towel around it plus use a rubber mullet to shock the seal.

what I did shnoza, was use a flat head screw driver, and carefully chose and area where the mating surface of the block to head, was not touched and used leverage. Worked like a charm.
There was a position near the front...just above where the power steering pump should have been. But I didn't apply too much force and it started to crack a bit. Chose another spot further down...and it all came off. couldn't find a safe leverage point on the inlet side so hopefully it comes off from the 2 leverage points for you. phong =P~

Just dont put anything between the sealing faces and lever.
Just to clarify something, when someone says to use heat, they mean to heat the block where the thread of the bolt will be. This really does help to get bolts out And for anyone thinking about screw extractors, theyre used for removing loose bolts only. If youve bottomed the bolt out, or if its seized in the block, they wont do a thing. Ever.

Now listen here!!! Screw in the bolts that hold the rocker cover to the head. Then u can pull the head up by THOSE bolts.
