Hence why I want the ZF, those boxes are bullet proof! And the fact that they're just so responsive. I mean, the G6E I test drove I didn't even put my foot down a 1/4 way and it snapped the gears back so quick and just shot forward with next to no ease. Since then I'm just like "Must have ZF...."

ZF and LSD... Only two things I REALLY wish I had. Though I did get mine for a good price... So I can't complain too much I guess.
Considering the cost, I would definitely invest in a car with both or at least one, rather then trying to put them in later... Like I'm thinking if doing... :/

With police pack - so it has LSD and ZF 6Sp. Only 20km away. Good price for less than 70thou km. Can always talk it down 1-2k though.

Also, I think my phone is playing up. I'm not sure if I'm receiving any messages.... Kinda not helpful when you're trying to sell a car >.<

ok firstly, 6spd....LSD.... XR suspension in an XT are great features to have.

But at the same time, its an ex police vehicle. The amount of idling the engine does in these, and the amount of times the car is pushed without the slightest bit of car sympathy the car wouldve aged like it has 150,000km.

That doesnt mean the car is crap, but that price is way way above what that car is really worth. Like i said, the police packs get sold at auction, and its usually around 13k, bit more or bit less depending on body damage and service history, spare keys etc. That car you linked to was sold at gov auction 1st June this year with 60,000km on it. So its done 6,000km since and now wants 17k for it........... nice profit !!!!

Ahhh, just did a google of the VIN. You're right. 1st June 2012 with 60,000km. But even then, I'm willing to pay $15k for it, seeing as it's next to impossible to find a police pack XT within 2 hours of me. Some of the XT's have had ZF 6, but not LSD etc even the XR6's that I've seen haven't had LSD... which is disgusting lol

Ex GOVT & POLICE VEHICLES Friday 7th December, 2012, QFleet Workshops, 72 Pineapple Street, ZILLMERE

Might head down to that one, or even the 14th. Both are ex police vehicles based. 14th I'm on holidays, and I'll more than likely have the cash with me at the time, so it's definitely a better option.

Think this will be the best way to get an XT with ZF and LSD etc for a far cheaper price than expected.

Thanks for the massive amounts of knowledge you've shared with me FordFairmont! Forever in your debt, and I'll let you know how I go with the FG hunt :)
