exactly what Ben J said, I have zero deck height now so the pistons are exactly level with the deck of the block at TDC, where before they were down the bore slightly but looked level, it ups the compression very slightly also

forgot to add, went for a drive this morning for an hour up and down old bathurst rd(penrith) to bed rings in, had no troubles and the motor feels alot stronger now it has been built to suit the cam and degree'd in, I was getting wheel spin out of the bends without trying.

have you strenthend up your bottom end? just had a rebuild?

the bottom end hasn't received any strenghtening, doesn't need it, maybe you would if the motor was turboed and punching out big numbers
