I installed them myself, too easy! :D Just got the cat, flanges cet welded in. I can do all this but not having a host its a little hard.
I do love fabricating, welding, electrical, computers and of cause mechanical stuff. The rewards you get from doing it yourself is just great.

I hope to do mine tomorrow, I am going to unbolt the cat and header and then bolt up extractors and then bolt the cat up and then cut the rear flange off and cut the flange of the OE cat and reweld should be good.

8-) I hit the Quote MAXIMUM brick wall ...5 apparenty pulls it up.

Generic is good, Fairlanes are nice, so should be a great system Fraudy. How are the extractors set up? like the pacey 4499's ie: 3 into 2 into 1?

yea the au heat shield will go over the extractors as its slightly flexable and you can bend the shield to cover them up...

i had one covering my extractors..

Hey TROYMAN, did you just use the mainfold bolts to hold your heat shield or did you need extra support from say....the shock tower???

The shield on mine was stiff enough to support its own eight and i just used 3 manifold bolts :D

So can EF/EL & AU heat shields go over any extractors???

Also say if u owned a EF/EL would u still use the facotry heat sheild or would u get an AU heatshield and install that over the extractors on a EF/EL???
