Sorry to hear about your car mate....

i dont share the same pity......... he drove like a C**k, come undone, and now he has to pay

hopefully lesson learnt!!

and before the tyrade starts, if he cared about his missus & his car as much as he claims, then he would drive accordingly.....

but i know that being "crossed up" is a common natural occurence to alot of people here..... im betting the road was "greasy" or something lol

And you drive to every letter of the law?

do you??
does anyone here??
youre a liar if you say,as you put it,you stick to every letter of the law.
we are all guilty of a blap on the throttle,a bit of sillyness in the wet etc..the trick is learning to stay inside of youre ability, and always save the silly stuff for a track day etc...or a paddock where the only victim is youre ego!

i wasnt blaming the diff at all i no it was my fualt, but the diff did make it worse when it singled then dualeed unexpactedly, my lsd is f**k btw.. wel i got some pics of the damage it looks to me without pulling anything off yet that its the bumper (my scorcher bar :( ) 2 front gards, xr grill is ok but mounts snapped.. maybe headlights there not broken but are upp the piss, rear bumpers fine just mounts snapped and its hangin off, bonnets fine.. rad is fine but ac condensers stuffed, but it seems to me like the thermos are sitting closer to the pulleys like the rad support got pushed back? i drove it home like this everything drove fine wasnt pulling or anything so no drivelines bent and i dont think theres any damage to the rails but i have to jack it up and have a look.. just wondering what peoples thoughts are on if its worth fixing or just buying another ed with blown motor nd putting my motor and manual in..
cheers

Spewin mate, looks like she was a nice beast. Pity that front end won't be cheap to fix.

Looked good.

Those front bars and lights arent cheap.

you just have to dont ya. even tho he said erlier he doesnt want criticism like this he just wants to know opinions on how to fix it or the such, but no you come open ur fuken smart mouth.
dont you think its punishment enough that he has to look at his car and see what hes done to his pride and joy?

i rekon get anotha eb/ed mont or so and stick your motor and box in it.

Personally id try to look into fixing it, first find out just how damaged it is, obviously ed xr front ends r worth a few bob, i assume its a genuine ED XR6, so try to keep it on the road u dont see many around. You've obviously put a fair bit of time and money into it, so look to fix it first i reckon.

Yeh i think i better look into fixing it first, ill pull the bumper off, guards, headlights and rad and ac cond out and asses the damage then i mite have to get a panell beater to have a look and tell me wich way i should go... i would love to fix it but i want it done right.
