As with everything there is a limit to this project but not sure what that is at this point in time as i have to check my car mods account that i have been saving

Just get a figure first.. then get yourself a nice package.. cam, extractors is a good starting point :D

got the extractor and exhaust, 3.45 lsd i only need a cam and thats it

If you do the labour part yourself i.e. removing the head, fitting the head, fitting the cam and valve springs.. then you can easily fit headwork and a good cam into that price range :)

ive already got half of it done, all i need is a cam and im sure that it shouldnt be more that 400 with me installing it

If you get a decent cam, you'll need better valve springs. So you'll be pushing past the $400 mark.

just looked in to in then a full cam with springs and the works is about 600 which is still cool

ive had a stage 2 crow cam... wasnt too grumpy... was definatly liveable with.. i had a stock 180,000km bottom end.. stage 2 crow cam, adjustable cam gear, 5spd conversion, unichip.. did 134rwks.. and usualy always a 14,6-14.9 second car.. usualy the latter though.. :wink:
