hi i have a few queries to check if anyone could help,
harmonic balancer and timing pointer are lined up,
pretty sure no.1 was on the up i had coolant as a guide :x ,
nothing has moved but :? cam sprocket mark is on passanger/inlet side not drivers/exhaust side like in my gregorys or in phongus'z thread:? ,

a mech fixed the head gasket head because of a scummy blown heater hose
and at the same time swapped head and rocker gear with my own serviced el head ect.
every bovic gasket blew within a month temp was all over the shop steam out the exhaust,
head place said it had been detonating wether or not that had something to do with him knocking my timing out or the fact that no1 was fill with coolant i dunno.
head is now skimmed, exhaust ported, polished valves, bowls, stainless valve thingys,au mls gasket, acl stainless gaskets ,hylomar ect ect ready to go on .
with the above said is it worth pulling the timing case to check and then maybe reset the cam or what ever it is i would have to do or get done??
some guidance would be awesome :D

the cam mark is supposed to be on the inlet side of the head... :?

if its not
that might be because your not on compression stroke..
rotate the engine one more revolution and the cam should then be on the right side..

yeah sorry the the line on the outer cam sprocket is probably incorrectly aligned by me with the exhaust side .
so i can assume the car would not be running with 180 about cam timing.
bolt it up spin it again it is cheers.
