Are you sure this wasnt your "clapped out EL with 250,000 kays on the clock". Seems odd that you looked at your friends receipt and memorized the exact code that was used.

Most Fordmodders agree that a Pannel filter is the way to go, and that exposed pods suck in hot and poorly combustable air.

yeah somethimes if not given back things are to help with diagnosing faults.

say some one wants a wolf 3d fitted and doesn't want the old ecu or air flow meter
it is kept and use if a suspected fault happens in an other car.

the local nissan dealer rings sometimes looking for stock ECUs and the like as well

Good to hear it goes to good use.

Ive upgraded exhausts on a few of the cars ive owned. Its only recently ive wondered what they do with the perfectly good standard one they take off. Obviosly they resell them.
