mine does this also with the wade 1004-14. sometimes will start cold and idle good as gold, other times the idle will go up and down (fluxuates between 500 and 1000rpm) and shakes, and stalls. sounds awsome, but its a pain in the a*** at 6.00am in the morning. I have to sit there holding it at 1000rpm for a couple of minutes then its fine...

did rpd advise that you may lose factory idle? i have stage 3 crow cam and i've been told they draw a lot more vacuum or something. i'm running aftermarket ecu and its not too bad.

I know someone with a JMM dev5 head and his car does the same thing.. I would say its the ECU not able to work out exactly how to idle with such a non-factory cam profile :)
