putting holes in you mufflers is actually very dangerous as exhaust gases can enter the cabin and you could pass out. I am serious this has happened to people. any mods must still exit gasses at the end of the pipe at the rear.

Got the same settup on my car dude, with high-flow cat and pacies as well. I agree with what you're saying, below 2250 it sounds really throaty and mean, not quite like a v8 but not far off! then anything above that the note starts to pick up and starts sounding a bit... how can i say it.... ricey

u can only get a fine if its above a certain db level, not just coz its modified....

NO, you can get a ticket if its louder than standard. Trust me, ive had this ticket, tried to fight it and lost.

WA's says should not be notibably louder than stock. do they give you a db reading from factory?

I'm glad I moved out of Sydney man. the maximum noise level here is 100 db.
