The V8 engine might weigh more complete because of the iron heads, but id be surprised if the blocks were heavier. I dont know the actual weights, but an empty windsor seems a fair bit easier to lift than an I6.

easily liftable by two people?

i would say 2 people could lift it fine

Two people can easily lift a bare I6 Block, you could nearly do it yourself

I don't know where this fits in but 4 of us couldn't even drag an RB30 and attached 5 speed across a front lawn with ropes.

I'd say the std Windsor block itself is lighter than 6 but when verything gets bolted on the V8 is heaver..Think about it 7 mains compared to 5 yea 8 holes instead of 6 ..There isn't much in V8's webbing and through there V section either...
Btw my Dart block in 8.2 dech is 160 Lb or near enough to 100 kg...The std block is heaps lighter tho....
Complete
Clevo is 550 Lb
351 W is 510 Lb
302 is 460 Lb
5.0 ho is 411 Lb...

I can lift an empty 4.0 block in/out of the boot of my car by myself (not graceful though). With crank, pistons, etc, 2 person job.
