I'm in the middle of a "head job" on a Eb 4.0, my VRS set came with 2 different inlet manifold gaskets, one is thin, the other is approx 4mm thick.. which one do I use? - what's the difference?

One is for CFI and one is for MPFI. CFI only applies to EA and EB1.

The thick has 6 indentations where the 6 injecters sit in the head.
So if yours is late EB1 on...... use the thick one. |

Thanks for your help, i just found out the hard way why the car had a massive flat spot off idle....
I guess the injectors don't work too well on the multipoint when covered up! Didn't even think to look at it LOL! |

Not unless it is CFI (twin point) injection. Most EA's and some
early EB1's use this........only 3.9's. all the 4.0lt are multi (6)injecters. |
