I'm in the middle of a "head job" :D on a Eb 4.0, my VRS set came with 2 different inlet manifold gaskets, one is thin, the other is approx 4mm thick.. which one do I use? - what's the difference?

 One is for CFI and one is for MPFI. CFI only applies to EA and EB1.

The thick has 6 indentations where the 6 injecters sit in the head.
So if yours is late EB1 on...... use the thick one.

Thanks for your help, i just found out the hard way why the car had a massive flat spot off idle....
I guess the injectors don't work too well on the multipoint when covered up!

Didn't even think to look at it LOL!

Not unless it is CFI (twin point) injection. Most EA's and some
early EB1's use this........only 3.9's. all the 4.0lt are multi (6)injecters.
