Hi,

I am curious to know who are the market leaders in developing the most power from the BA - BF - FG engines both in N/A and Forced induction...

I have been involved in developing BA - BF engines and these engines respond quite well to my internal modifications.
So who currently makes the most power?

Cheers

cams are the big thing for the I6. everyones looking for the ideal setup.

the new big thing out recently is the j3 chips.

i havent really heard much about B series stage upgrades. but im not an expert on that.

may i suggest a head and cam package? complete with gaskets, bolts. Possibly cam? do a port on it, redo the combustion chamber.

a lot of people might be interested in a off the self kit after they do a gasket...

My XT made 185rwkw.. pretty sure someone would have beat it by now though, that was back in 2004.

I have already done all of this...Cams as well...

My N/A I6 engines have already reliably made 199+ rwkw

But there is more to come!
So who is considered the 'leader' in maximum power from N/A & Force Induction I6 engines??

seeing as your experienced with modding the Ford I6's, it seems strange that you must ask your question....

surely you must know what competitors are out there?

seems quite vague considering one not knowing his main competitors.. isnt that something you should know of allready if your were to have "bench marked" your engine's against?? or are you just acting vague as to not upset moderators in regaurds to advertising a buisiness without tangling withthe advertising vs site sponsors allready here???

im keen to see your work..

What sort of figures are you after.

One run dyno queens?
Daily reliable?
Drag strip reliable?
12hr Bathurst reliable?

I never followed much re: B series I6 N/A applications, but Nizpro seem to be the guys in the know for the T's. There's their well know 1000HP dyno motor, then theres hundreds of customers running various mod packages daily, on the track/strip etc.

It's all well and good to say you've gotten 199RWKW (through what, auto, manual, 4/5/6 speed, test conditions), did it need a complete rebuild after one/two/three runs? is it daily reliable. Is it even close to being cost effective. No one will care if you dumped 40K into it, but they'd be beating down your door if it was 4K.

Sorry, but thread seems dubious unless proof and more info (or even a more specific question) provided.

someone seems to have gone awol?

you would think you would have half a clue in whats out there if you have been in the engine game for at least the 35 years claimed.

Hi,

Been a bit busy...

It's interesting reading some of the comments regarding my idea to provide engine development services direct .

I do have 35 years motor trade experience and relevant qualifications, a considerable amount of which was gained abroad.

My work here in Adelaide has been mainly for a 'retail tuning workshop' and my work including pictures has featured on websites, and in Dyno competitions, as this work was carried out on a sub contract basis I can't really show pictures and details - suffice to say these engines (not limited to Fords) are probably the most powerful of thier type in SA.

Sorry to be so cagey, but I don't want to get into disputes with the tuning shop in question - I'm just interested in developing engines.

Overall I think my post has run it's course, and I thank you for your comments.

Cheers

got to expect people to be cagey/cautious and wanting to ask many questions on a product/service that is unseen (no pics) and un known...
