Cheers Brockyb8, towball, I will definately get a video of it running.

Collected a few more things for next week today

fuel system sorted

Let the wiring begin :( ,I have decided to go 1-6 alphabetically through the colours, so I can always remember what's what) on both the coils and the injectors.

LC-1 also turned up in the post :D , wondering if I can run it to the EMS and the laptop at the same time? use a USB to Serial adapter for the EMS and have the LC-1 plugged into both, could data log both outputs at the same time for comparison, that way it could use the full voltage on the LC-1 program and the reduced one in the EMS?

Anyone know if the wideband sensor is the same thread as a standard O2 sensor? I know I could go and drawl under the car, but if someone wants to save me the trouble?

Re the LC1, yes you can. The LC1 is hardwired to the EMS, and can be logged whilst it is connected, only problem is getting 2 laptops to talk to the EMS and the LC1 for logging. The EMS will datalog everything you need, so i wouldnt worry about the LC1 for logging if it were me. You could possible do it from one computer, but i have never tried, as i only have one USB to serial connector. Good locu and keep up the good work.

You could use a 7 core trailer wiring cable....nice and neat.

I am thinking about having an alloy box on the firewall that contains all the connectors, and goes through to the cab.

Still unsure as to retaining the Air-con or not? It would rid the engine bay of a heap of piping and mess, but it does get hot in summer?? However my two previous cars didn't have air con and I didn't really miss it, except for a couple of 40+ days.

Anyone ditched their air-con and really regretted it later?

I would keep the air con. I have had cars with no gas in the air con and hated them in summer.

I've currently got problems with the air con in my ba. The worst issue at the moment is I can't demist the windscreen when I go to work in the morning. I'm bloody sick of wiping it clear every morning!!

:D :D I'm officially on holidays, I have 8 days until the car needs to drive again, so it all starts tomorrow :D

I am currently making a list of things to do and make:

Make TPS spacer
Oil breather mount
Mount vacuum rail
Mount fuel rail
Make regulator mount
cut intake gaskets
Make return spring lever x 3
make coil rail mount tabs
Measure standard throttle cable pull distance

Mount EMS, any suggestions? under the seat is out due to vacuum hose would be too long, engine bay is out, I'm thinking passenger side inside firewall (I could build a cover to protect it) or inside the glove box.

Things to buy:
2 x lifter shims (I thought I had them) but opened the bag tonight and there is only 10 :(
do Ford sell them? and would they even stock them? or wrecker a better bet? need to get them tomorrow.

Radiator hose, with bend to suit new thermostat housing.

I will take pics of the whole process and videos once it's running.

Might take you up on that, if I can't find a couple in the morning I'll give you a buzz.
