Is it a VR sensor like the Crank sensor?

Tell me about it, I have already counted about 50 holes that need welding up.

Plan is, once I have built the new bottom end, and have another daily, the motor will get yanked, holes and seams welded and paint engine bay.

This is what happens when you forget to put the bolt back into the crank before you use the harmonic balancer puller

Thank Jeebus for easy outs.......

Where it is at
Anyone know what the plug that heads into the bottom of the timing cover does? I need to re run wires from wherever they go to, as it is all hooked into the injector loom, which is not going to be used.

Not the crank angle sensor?

That's the one, didn't realise the wire wrapped around the front of the timing chain cover.

Matt is coming up tomorrow to help put the head on, and bringing a new water pump, as I will be without transport tomorrow.

Head is on, and I thought I would do a quick test fit of the ITB's to make sure there was going to be no surprises, it fits well.

I could even get the longer 150mm ram tubes in there

Just have to turn the TPS around to face the other way

It's a 94AB, I'm in the process of smoothing everything so the numbers had to go :D

It made sense once the balancer was off and I could see the sensor, from the back with the balancer on it looks like it is just stuffed in through the back of the timing cover, but it actually runs over the front of the timing cover with a plate over the top.
