They are air bleed screws, used to fine tune the idle mixture.

How are you going to balance the throttle bodies???
A system similar to motorcycle balancing tool, or an old school one where you put the tool over each stack, like what was used on triple Webers, or triple SU's???

have seen it done with a length of tube in your ear, helps you hear the difference in suction. a simple manometer you could make up would do it well.

wouldnt have thought they'd be heaps of difference, but with no plenum its probably needed now

you can sync them all by feeler gauge, also theres a central vacuum plenum, which will also help balance them out. with EFI its not as critical as carbs so doing them by feeler gauge is fine.

I have a 4 body balancing tool from the old GPZ750, and a single one for webbers, but having the wideband will help as well.

That was the way I was going to set them up, everything is pretty spot on machining wise so I don't expect many probs with them being out of sync. We will find out tomorrow I guess.

I love the GPZ's, always wanted a GPZ750 Turbo, but never got around to getting one though, I gave up the bikes once I moved to the hills.
