Nice job so far. Is the oil breather box hooked to vacuum, or just breathes out of it???

It is just a breather.

Couple of things done today, aircon lines, condenser, and dryer gone.

Who needs air con anyway

Screen grab, quick 1st and 2nd squirt log from laptop, need to tidy up the tune a tiny bit from idle to about 2,000rpm, but from there up it is pretty well 12.5 all the way. From the top down: RPM, Vacuum, AFR, TPS

Are you still gonna go back to the coil on plug arrangement eventually? Seems a shame to have done all those rings and that for nothing... Just haven't had the time yet or still waiting on a new igniter?

Other than that It's looking a million bucks...

Cheers,
Tim

Nice update dude. I take it with removing the A/C it's not your daily drive? I couldn't live without a/c in my daily drive, now that I've had it for a few years.

Cheers

yep.

The only person that uses my AC is my girlfriend.

Ironically it's the only thing NOT working in her Falcon.

Pffft! It's nice to cruise around in a/c comfort, especially when you have to go to work & don't want to be dripping in sweat when you get there!

Currently my only car on the road with a/c is at the panel beaters anyway.

krisisdog -> My a/c only worked for about 12mths after I first bought the Eb Ghia, then i waited 2 years before I fixed it. Didn't cost me much to fix it, and I should have fixed it straight away. It's not fun being stuck in traffic without a/c on a 30+ deg day.

Cheers

Correct, I don't plan on using as a daily for much longer, just need to sort a couple of things on the new daily.

Heading up Gorge Rd on the way home tonight, and sucked in a piece of a filter sock at 5,500rpm

Luckily a carry allen keys in the car, took the trumpet off and there it was stuck in the throttle blade, checked all the others and 3 more were on the way.

Image

Got a quick video trying to capture the sound it makes, the iphone mic doesn't do it justice though.
(excuse the video work, it's hard to steer, change gears and film all at the same time)
