That would be brillliant. Can you pretty please post the dyno printouts.

I've heard how brilliant these cams are, but never seen a dyno printout.

You the man... :D

i beleive the 5cyl engine is better balanced then the 6.

TO get 180rwkw out a holden v6 you would need to spend twice as much if not 3 X as much then u would for a falcon 6 to get 180rwkw.

No comparison

You're spot on about the V6 Holden's having to spend 2X as much to get the same RWK as a Falcon I6. The Holden V6 just doesn't cut it. Simply check out the Holden forums (I was majorly bored!!!).

As for revving the Holden V6 to past 7,000rpm (even 6,000rpm) HOLY s**t!!! The bloody thing would explode. The poor bastards sound like they want to rip themselves apart at 5,000rpm let alone 7,000rpm...

Whoever said that the VZ V6's aren't much chop, your dead right.
My mates BA easily outperforms both the VZ's I've driven. I was not impressed with the new DOHC V6 at all... I'd like to try a 190wk manual SV6. They would be alright...

As for the original question of I6 vs V6, if your talking Falcon 6 vs Commie 6, it's not even a comparison...
haha..ive beaten an sv6 commie twice... no street racing either.. was at eastern creek raceway..down the quater... he did 15.4 15.3.... to my 15.1 n 14.8.... i did have 145rwkw though... i also believe that the 3.6 commies are a bit "course and need a bit of a rev to get going"...

I've posted this many times before - it's RPD's AU version of the stage3 in my auto Hybrid EL.

Thanks mate, that's great.

Is that figure with the cam only or with other mods?

That's cam and intake/exhaust/extractors. pre cam (with other mods) I scored a 101RWKW but it was a different dyno so take that with a grain/bag of salt.

i have heard that a v6 will beat the i6 off the line but 60ks and over the i6 will win and up at 170kph the v6 will loose power where as the i6 will keep producing the power

go the mighty falcon

V6 will never be competition for a straight 6.
If anyone knows of a motor that is cheaper to extract horsepower from i'd like to know what it is.
Go the 4L!!!!!!!!!!!

So a stage 2 ALTED is like a DEV3HL JMM in regards to increased power...
