A while ago I had an issue with my car where when the A/C was on, and I changed gears, the revs would stick at 2krpm roughly for a second, then slowly drop.

Recently, I took my battery off to do something to my car, put it all back together, and for about 5 hours the problem went away and it was all savvy. Then, it changed and when I changed gears with the A/C on, the revs dropped really fast to about 400-500rpm, then back up to normal idle speed. Once it actually stalled because of this.

What's going on? Is my ICS spent or something? Can anyone help me out?

I too have the same problem with my ED with all the habbits that you decribe but it doesn't stall. When at idle in drive then turn the steering wheel, it wont stall but the compressor cuts in and out with that click sound of the compressor cut in and out very rapidly. Very anoying. I would like to know a solution but I am putting it down to old age and may need a new or rebuilt compessor.
