Is there anywhere i can get the data base file or the australian version of the ids software, i have IDS-68 but that only has the american models?.
Also can this software be used to program new keys and activate the radio if i change the BEM?

This software does all that... however... are you aware that you require certain hardware as well as software to gain access to vehicles? And the Ford software can only be updated and used with certain broadband locations? That is if I bring an IDS laptop to my home I cannot reprogram keys as when you do a key they car gives you an "out code" which you upload to Ford's database (only on broadband lines of dealers) and they send you back the "in code" which you upload into the PCM and they enables a key to be programmed... This whole process must be completed in under a minute as the out code will then change...

There is more to this process than first appears... All this is designed to slow down thieves and they've done quite well doing it...

But unless you can get onto a Dealers broadband lines and get the Ford issued hardware to communicate with the car your fighting a lost cause sorry...

Also from memory latest version is IDS 69 and to get this software, A) I doubt Ford would sell it to you, and B) it'd be worth a fortune, installing the software takes ages, the program is huge and a program like that doesn't come cheap... It is all copyrighted and the intellectual property of Ford America, they don't issue it to the public so that people cannot reverse engineer it and get into their systems...
