i brought some new leads to replace the crappy ones that are on it i lifted my bonnet and it looks like a pain in the a***
im feelin pretty slack today i dunno it i should do it now or later guess my question is should i bother doing it today and is it that hard or can someone gimme a few lil tips on making it easyer cheers justin |

Remove the plastic intake and pull your airbox out and you can squeeze your arm in under the intake manifold and reach the top of the ignition coil.
Make sure the car is stone cold, or the metal hot water hose can make it difficult. |

also do it one lead at a time, so you don't get yourself confused.

I find a funny trick is if its a little warm i wore a sock on my arm (a long school sock lol) i actually did it 5 mins after driving the ef.. But its not 2 hard as said b4 one at a time and be patient can be a b**ch lol

I found the best way to do it is:
as above 1: remove airbox (2 mins) 2: remove 1 lead at a time 3: feed the cable through, locate its home with arm(hard) and poke an extension bar/wooden dowl through the manifold and press the lead on. 4: do the remainder! 5: reinstall the airbox (with a bit of silicon spray around the rubber bits) 6: bobs ya sis

Ive found its easier just to rip all the leads off and put them back on in order. Leads 1,2,6 group together inbetween the intake runners, and leads 3,4,5 go through the last pair of runners.

cheers for the replys fellas yea i just looked at the leads going toward the bottom end and i went f*ck it
i'll prob do it tomorrow might fit me better air intake pipe while im there |
