I just thought some people might like to know that EFI Hardware in Melbourne might be starting work on ITB for the E-Seires falcon 6 just a rumour at the moment but should be nice if they do imagine a fully worked 4.8 stroker 6 from Joe at Cresant motorsport with a set of 50mm ITB hanging off the side of it and some beefy extractors on the other all completly detailed. (Sorry about any spelling mistakes i'm just to exicited)

RPD did this same setup a few years back.

Yeh was intrested in RPD's TB manifold but never got around to buying one, so depending on price might have to keep look out for this one.

That'd be f**k awesome! That combined with a nasty cam would definatly talk me out of a turbo conversion.

Lumpy as f**k and multi throttles FTW

we've been able to use the EFI hardware TB for years.

XF triple weber manifold and and adapter plate, jobs done.

it's just most people don't want to OR can't afford to use an aftermarket ECU.

I know EFI Hardware have been doing x series kits on webber manifolds for years but unless you modify or make a manifold there is no bolt on kit for an E series apart from the RPD stuff but i don't think you can get it any more. I'm not sure hoe to post pics (My be i should spend more time on the computer and less time in the workshop LOL) but to get an idea just check out www.efihardware.com.

or you could, like i said, make a very simply adapter plate and bolt it all straight on. port spacing is the same, the bolt pattern is not.

does this require a standalone ECU or if you say, had an AU SOHC engine would a flash tune do the job?

tripple tbs would be sweet, as you could tune the induction system much better. The BBM is a good induction setup for a daily driver, but no good if you want to make good power through the range. it annoys me coz when driving between 70-100k's and dropping to third, it puts me right in the BBM swapover and you get what can only be described as lag.

tuned length manifold and tripple tbs would go down a treat :)

how much would you put the cost of the XF manifold, the TB's, adaptor plate and flash tuning to get it to run? no need to be 100% just ballpark guesstimate?

well an adaptor plate is a modification isn't it but some people may not have the skills or equipment to do this we all love modified cars other wise we wouldn't be on here but most people would rather just buy a kit that is all ready designed for there car. As for the tune i just spoke to capa and you can use the flash tuner 2 for a custom tune on AU to FG and you can use an e series tuning switch chip on EA to EL but either way you would need to have it custom tuned using one of these products. You would also need to link the manifold vacuum from each manifold runner to your MAP sensor but that's only 6 t pieces and some vacuum line you could just run a line from one runner to the next but your better off linking them in a 3-2-1 fashion like extractors as this lets the MAP sensor get an uninhibited reading making for a better idle and ease of tuning.

OPLESE had an ITB setup for the drift car.
Will upload pics tonight. Had 6 red socks hanging of each intake. Looks complicated

the EFI hardware throttle bodies for a 6cyl is $2156 for econo kit or $2970 for the pro kit. the XF manifold new would be about $200 to $250.
at the very lest an ECU would be about $1200, could be done cheaper with DIY ecus like megasquirt. Any good machine shop could make the adapter plate in a day or so. but in reality anyone with a drill, dremal and tap set could make one in a weekend or two

labour cost to fit.. well you'd have to ring around
