is there any reason why im not getting any? a mate of mine has a VP commo with a pod and he's is as loud as f**k! just thinking it might be the gas setup thats not causing the engine to suck very hard for some reason.

id like a nice sucking noise coming from under the bonnet :!:

hmmm. is it a vp v6? i dont know how long the induction piping on them is but yea that could possibly reduce noise. i used to have a vn 5litre and that throttle body is close as to the box and the thing sucked like there was no tomorrow

yeah you don't want it loud anyway, as soon as a cop hears you he'll pull ya up and ask ya to pop the hood, and there probably lies an un-boxed pod which will earn you a defect notice.

Yea my mate has got a VR and his sucks loud at idel but mine sucks pretty loud when its cold. But mine has the maddest turbo like sound when i am drivin and either change gears or if im cruzin at round 80 and the tachos at bout 2-3 grand and i back off, plus if im cruzin long bout 2800rpm and have it locked in gear so it wont kick down and open it up full then it sounds cool as pie.

Cheers

I agree.. I also can't see why people would put a pod on, rather than a decent panel filter with nice cold air induction.

dont mostly all ricers and commonwhores do the exposed pod filter "thing"? it is against the law as the cops state that induction roar is an offence... (defectable) dont want to be the "fun police" just letting you know... ive tried in the past... i didnt get any pod filter "roar" outa my ef i6 with a pod either.. ended up getting the k&n flat panel filter, putting it in the standard box n rigging up a cold air intake from behind the front bumper... so not only am i not going to get a lecture from the cops im also gettin a source of cold air...
