i asked this a while ago on here and was told $80 to 100. it'd also depend on weather you supply the shims, the rocker cover seal and the hydrolic lash adjuster retainers

i've ordered stuff from them a few times, usually on fridays as that just seems to be when i'm motivated to get stuff for the car to do it on the weekend, anyways, when they don't have it in stock, they usually find it in one of the other hobart stores and i go pick it up there, or they get it from elsewhere and usually have it by monday, pretty impresive in my opinion, but for the over priced items they sell, i guess it should be

hmm I am probably going to order my cam today 1004-114
Do the shims, the rocker cover seal and the hydraulic lash adjuster retainers have any specific part numbers?
As I really have nfi what I am buying and don’t want too look like a tool when i go to ford parts.
This of for an EL fairmont :)

Well I am sure the gasket/seal is easy enough… but as for the other two?
Oh and how many do I need?

i am guessing wade can also tell me this but its nice to be sure :D

Thanks!

edit: also am i better going to repco for this stuff or maybe some of it?

Ahh just spoke to Chris at wade cams (thanks Chris) and the shims are just standard cam shims from ford i.e. you don’t have to ask for anything fancy (I will find out tonight when I go to ford I suppose)
I also just ordered the new 1604 cam :D
http://www.fordmods.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2171

will post feedback 8-)

edit: crap i forgot to ask about the hydraulic lash adjuster retainers??? any info on how many, where and how much anyone? and i suppose if i need them (EL 6cyl)
