today i was patching up my exhaust, after i tried to start my car and the battery was dead..dont know how it died or why :S got a mate to jump start it with 2 12v batterys connected to my original battery, car started but the instrument cluster and the clock no longer work, the park brake light on it works and the back lights on it work to, same thing with the clock, back light lit but no display. any ideas any one? this car was ment to be going for pink skip with in the next few days and no can not. need help!
for reference it is a 1995 EF futura auto.

So you have checked all the fuses with a test light then? (Visual test isn't accurate)...

When you say patching the exhaust, you were using a welder? You put an anti-zap on the battery or disconnected it to prevent the high DC current damaging the sensitive electronics?

just using exhaust putty and bandage to patch the exhaust, my mate tested the most likely blown fuses with a multimeter and they were fine

Test them all... The circuits do funny things in the falcons... Does the cd player function? Doe the heater fan function?

dont worry guys, all fixed, a fuse was put in the wrong place :)
