how hard is a CAI to install (this is coming from someone who found it a challenge doing the rocker cover gasket) so be gentle!!

what do you mean by a CAI? SS induction? AUIII XR snorkel? extra pipes from the airbox to brake duct vents? :P

lol thats about the only one i couldn't help ya with... :roll: have you actually bought the thing? from all accounts, the AUIII XR snorkels are just as effective, for a fraction of the price

no havent bought it... will buy an xr intake if cheaper/as effective!

from what everyone has said, the minimal difference in performance between the 2 is not justified by the huge price difference - i paid $22 for my intake from lynford, yet SS inductions are over $200 i think...

took me 10mins. the doco says to redrill holes etc - i reused the hole next to the airbox, and for the second hole, lol i just got a large galvinised nail, and smacked a hole thru with that! hehe just be careful of the radiator! :P

nothin' suss! :P lol i couldn't be a*** finding the drill & correct bit - so hence, the hammer & nail. meh - worked perfect, holds in tight as, and did no damage to anything else at all! whats wrong with that?!?! :D

it just replaces the existing one! you'll see when you pull it off - it fits over the hole in the airbox

Try trimming it back too, makes it sit nicer and look better, and easier to drill, just cut a few mm of with a pair of tinsnips, thats all i used and it came up great
