well i ran 15.2 with just a mild cam, exhaust, manual and SINGLE SPINNER 3.7 diff, and had bad traction issues and only 2 attempts

If i had fitted lsd then no doubt there was high 14's in there.

Recently had bigger cam fitted and dyno tuned chip, and had plans for lsd, and semi slicks...... was looking at mid 14's easily.

eed-250 the ford sixes respond well to mods and only really need the gearing fixed up to run low to flat 15's. f**k the V8's

haha no, but dyno results showed i was up 20kw and huge torque increase with new combo, and if i had traction issues sorted with lsd and slicks, why would mid 14's seem unrealistic?

Will never know though cause my cam and chip were pulled out yesterday to be sold.........

250 stop s**t stirring lol. For the record it was a BF XT not a BA as your respondee posted. It ran the 14.5 largely thanks to the 6speed auto in it.

this is the third time out of three dyno comps the ea took out highest place 6.
Its impossible to get that much power without a polished cam, double vavle seats a massivly proted head (120thou)and strengthened shims in the lifters.

2k for those figures? pft. cost me at least 4 times that.. u tell me how thats not a waste of money??
stick to fag drag mate its cheaper and easier.

i

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Ive got a dyno sheet here which shows an EF 5spd hitting 138rwkw (I'd have to double check, but im pretty sure its 138 or 136) - mild cam, polished head, extractors + exhaust. Stock everything else. Thats only 2-3k worth of mods.[/img]

yeah something wrong with those figures

Heres mine with 138kw..... 1636 cam, exhaust, intake mods, slight bump in comp with manual box

Image

Then 150-ishkw with 977b cam, Crow springs, custom tune

Image

Lets see the e-series V8 make those figures with small mods :P

My XT made 185rwkw. The XR6T (which is meant to go fast, not the XT) made 192rwkw stock as a rock.

n/a Falcons are nice cars but they're no speed demons, nor are they very good value for money if your looking for quickish times.. I'd count that as low 14's, personally.

sorry to say but that is a fairly poor dyno result for the amount of work done..
i got 133rwkw from a std au engine with extractors/sport exhaust in my ea..

LoL, tocchi put up one of your standard XG ute with the oldish motor.

Really its all about the starting platform. I know in the v8 side of things the windsor boys (including myself) have to pour in a lot of dosh just to keep up with a bolt on boss, same with the NA vs turbo's.

Its hard to justify doing it $$$ wise, but sometimes it goes out the window.

although its funny, I still think it's good to see the NA dyno figures here...

as for the 56kw one.. I'd kill for 56kw in our 90 seirra... :-)

a look in my sig can show where I am now.. the only things I was thinking of doing to the motor from here is a early EL head and intake BBM and possibly a EL ghia ECU if I can find one for a reasonable price.. while I have it off, might get it shaved a little and blueprint it to the strags and intake.. if that doesn't give me what I want.. I'll up the cam and get better springs.. unless I find turbo kit going cheap.. still the best option because there are are fair few dead EL's around to be picked up for a few hundred bucks. (and I want the front end of one for me EA anyway)
